Building a Base

Scottsville Disposal continues to expand their services.

Greetings all, today’s James Exchange conversation is with Amber Gentry who, with her husband Dallas, started Scottsville Disposal. I am the host of the James Exchange, Nancy Gill.

But first, a big shout out to the Scottsville Elementary School PTO for successfully raising the $4500 needed to send the 5th grade class to the Virginia Beach Aquarium and a trip to the beach to study the effects of erosion—and I am sure to have fun in the surf and sand! The field trip is scheduled for May 26.

Back to Scottsville Disposal:

Amber and Dallas Gentry started planning Scottsville Disposal in 2020 and implemented it in 2021. Scottsville Disposal. Since then they have grown the company to over 600 clients and are  in the process of putting a third truck in service.

I had an opportunity to catch up with Amber to have a conversation on their business and found out baseball is an important sport to their family.

During our conversation, Amber indicated the best way to contact them is through email.
