Meet Molly Angevine-Write-In Candidate

She serves on the Planning Commission and wants to work with events.

Welcome to the James Exchange on this fine Sunday evening. It is still November 3rd and this is my last podcast in a series of three on the write-in candidates for Scottsville town council.  I am your host Nancy Gill and now it is Molly Angevine’s turn to answer some questions. And, let me tell you, this has been a marathon. I will not get to Laura Cortese and the Dance Cards today, but I will tomorrow! I prerecord our conversations. There is a transcript you can follow, read, or browse with each podcast.

Molly Angevine

Angevine is currently serving on Scottsville’s Planning Commission. She has been involved for over a year on the rewriting of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan which has been a cut-and-paste document since the mid 1990s.

She has been a Scottsville resident since 2017, and is a single Mom. Her son is currently a college student in Charlottesville.

Angevine has been volunteering in the Town office for a few months and has been able to see the workings of the administration first-hand. Her passion is events and is planning to develop a printed newsletter as well as an online version of Town’s goings on.

She was the last candidate, that I know of, to enter the write-in campaign vying for votes on November 5th.

The Ballot

And, as always, if you have a song, a story, an event, or an issue you would like to discuss, perhaps it is time for a conversation.
