Care About Housing?

Attend one of three informational meetings on Saturday.

Good afternoon Greater Scottsville! This is a special alert from the James Exchange. I am your host Nancy Gill

On Saturday, January 15, the Town of Scottsville is hosting three informational meetings on the Bird and Blenheim proposed housing projects.

Meetings will be at 11:00, 12:30, and 2:00 and will last just under one and a half hours.

Each session will consist of presentation on the projects, small group discussion and activities, and a Q&A session.

Jeff Sadler of Complete Community Economies will be facilitating. From the town’s website:

Jeff specializes in holistic community revitalization planning and implementation, spanning housing, central business districts and the general livability factors. Prior to founding CCE, Jeff led Virginia’s Community Revitalization Office, which managed roughly $18 million in grants each year, with a focus on accountability and local impact.

The sessions will be held in Victory Hall Theater and each are limited to 20 attendees.

If you cannot attend the meeting, you may observe through ZOOM. Links are on the town’s website at https://www.scottsville.org/community-meeting-about-new-houses/
